An RSS reader with AI that stays free
Follow the sites, newsletters, podcasts, and YouTube channels you care about, in one calm list. Readsira is a free RSS reader for up to 500 feeds, with a catalog to find new ones and optional AI that tells you what matters for your work.
Who it is for
People who read many sources and want them in one place without an algorithm deciding what they see:
- Readers who follow news, blogs, and newsletters every day.
- Analysts and researchers who track a market, a field, or a policy area.
- Anyone leaving a reader that closed, or tired of checking ten sites by hand.
Find feeds without knowing their address
Discover lists about 40,000 news sites, blogs, newsletters, podcasts, and YouTube channels. Browse by topic, language, and country, preview the latest posts of any feed, and follow it into a folder in one click. Starter packs follow a curated set in one go.
Paste any web address and Readsira finds its feed. If the site has none, Follow anything reads the page, finds the list of items, and turns it into a feed.
Where the AI helps
The reader itself needs no AI: posts arrive in order, feeds you follow are checked about every 15 minutes, and you can save, highlight, and search everything. The AI features are there when you want them:
- Summaries of long posts and of whole stories across sources, on Pro.
- Ranking that puts posts relevant to your projects first, on Pro.
- Radar: every Monday, what changed for each project, with a quote from the source.
- Ask questions across what you have read, with citations. Free includes 10 answers a month.
Moving from another reader
Export an OPML file from your current RSS reader (most readers offer one) and import it in Readsira, and the feeds you followed there are followed here. You can export everything again at any time.
Readsira also runs a public directory of libraries, museums, bookstores, and coworking spaces built from open data, if you are looking for places to read.

Questions and answers
Is the RSS reader really free?
Yes. Following up to 500 feeds, reading, saving, highlights, and search are free with no time limit and no ads.
How often are feeds updated?
Feeds that Readsira readers follow are checked about every 15 minutes. Quiet feeds nobody follows yet are checked less often.
Can I import my feeds from another reader?
Yes. Import an OPML file, the standard export format of RSS readers.
Does it work with newsletters, podcasts, and YouTube?
Yes, when they publish a feed: most podcasts and every YouTube channel do, and many newsletter platforms too. Discover lists them by type.
Do I have to use the AI?
No. The AI features are optional and paid. The reader works the same without them.
