Use case: research

Research notes where every claim has a source

Reading for a thesis, a market scan, or a policy brief means hundreds of sources and a draft that has to stand up. Readsira keeps the sources, your highlights, and the writing in one project, and every sentence it drafts links back to the quote behind it.

Who it is for

  • Students writing a thesis or a literature review.
  • Analysts tracking a market, a company list, or a regulation.
  • Journalists and policy researchers who must show where a claim comes from.
  • Consultants who turn a week of reading into a client memo.

From reading to a cited draft

Create a project for one question and add sources to it: articles, PDFs, podcast episodes, and videos. Highlight the passages that matter and add notes. Podcasts and videos are transcribed, so a highlight in speech keeps its timestamp.

When you are ready, Readsira drafts a memo, a brief, or a literature review from the project. Each claim carries a number; hover it to see the quote it rests on, or open the podcast at the right second. A sentence with no source behind it is underlined and labeled, so you decide whether it stays.

Keep the draft current

Research does not stop when the first draft is done. Radar watches your feeds and chosen sources and tells you every Monday what changed for each project, why it matters, and where it came from. Regenerate the draft after new reading, compare versions, and keep a decision log the draft must respect.

Your library, in your other tools

The MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, and other assistants search and read your library while you work, with citations. Pro adds the REST API for your own scripts. You can export everything at any time.

Questions and answers

How do citations work?

Every claim in a draft links to the passage in your sources that supports it. You see the quote on hover, and media citations open the player at the timestamp.

What if the AI writes something without a source?

The sentence is underlined and labeled as unsupported, so you can delete it, rewrite it, or add a source.

Can I use it for free?

Yes. Saving, highlights, notes, and search are free, and Free includes 1 cited output and 10 answers a month to try the research features.

Is my library used to train AI models?

No. Your library is never used to train AI models, and we show no ads.

Does it work with Zotero or my reference manager?

Not directly today. You can reach your library from your own tools through the MCP server and, on Pro, the REST API.
